The Bravery Beads program from SickKids Hospitals and so many other hospitals across our continent, is such an important step to capture a sick child’s journey. It’s not a reward or a “job well done”, but instead a keepsake to remind Autumn and everyone around her, that she is the bravest warrior, and that every procedure or IV or blood work or surgery, hospital visit or transfusion that she gets, is bringing her closer to being cancer-free!
Our little Autumn is at her 2nd full necklace, and there’s a lot more along the way.
